Gorilla trek, Bwindi, Uganda
“Our planner answered every question within a day and had the gorilla permits secured months ahead. The trek was hard going, but our guide set the pace for us, and the hour with the family is something we will never forget.”
— Mark & Julia T.
Kenya and Tanzania, 12 days
“We wanted the Mara and the Serengeti without spending every day in the car. The route was well balanced, the lodges were exactly as described, and our driver-guide found us a river crossing on day three.”
— Aisha K.
Honeymoon, Serengeti and Zanzibar
“From the private dinner in the bush to the quiet beach at the end, everything felt planned around the two of us. Transfers were always on time, even when our flight to Zanzibar changed.”
— David O.
Family safari, Uganda
“Travelling with two teenagers, we needed variety. Chimps in Kibale, the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and a day at the Nile kept everyone happy. The kids still talk about our guide.”
— Priya N.
Kilimanjaro, Lemosho Route
“The climb was well organised from start to finish. The mountain crew checked on us constantly, the food was far better than expected, and the extra acclimatisation day made the summit possible.”
— Thomas W.
Rwanda, gorillas and Akagera
“A short trip that felt unhurried. Volcanoes National Park was the highlight, and Akagera surprised us with lions on the first drive. The only thing I would change is one more night in Kigali.”
— Sofia L.
Historic route, Ethiopia
“Lalibela, Gondar and Axum in one well-paced week. Our local guides brought the churches and castles to life, and every internal flight and hotel was confirmed before we arrived.”
— Grace M.
Murchison Falls, Uganda
“Seeing the falls from the top and then from the boat on the same day was incredible. Our planner suggested the extra night by the river, and it was the best decision of the trip.”
— James & Ruth B.
Maasai Mara, Kenya
“Our first safari, and it could not have gone better. Honest advice on when to travel, a comfortable camp right on the plains, and a guide who knew exactly where the cats would be.”
We publish only genuine reviews from travellers who booked and travelled with us. No review on our pages, or anywhere we control, is written or edited by our team, and we do not remove a review because it is critical.
Why This Matters to Us
A safari is a significant trip for most people, in cost and in the time it takes to plan it, and a review written after the fact is one of the few honest signals another traveller has to go on. We would rather a smaller number of real, sometimes mixed, reviews than a large number that read too smoothly to be believed.
Where to Read Reviews
Beyond what we host directly, past travellers leave reviews on TripAdvisor, Google and SafariBookings. Searching our name on any of those platforms will bring up independent feedback from people who have no reason to write anything they do not mean, since none of those platforms is run by us.
Leave a Review
If you travelled with us, we would like to hear how it went, good or bad. Use the review form below to share your experience; it helps future travellers plan better, and it helps us see what to fix. Tell us about the planning process as much as the trip itself, since both shape how the whole thing goes.
How We Respond to Feedback
Every review we receive is read by the planner who worked on that trip, and by the team more broadly. Where a review points to something we got wrong, whether a lodge that did not meet expectations or a detail missed in planning, we follow up directly with the traveller where we can, and we use it to change how we plan the next trip of that kind. We do not chase reviews for a better score; we would rather have an honest account of your trip than a polished one. If a review raises a specific issue with a lodge or supplier, we raise it with them directly, since that is often the only way it gets fixed for the next traveller.
