Kenya’s safari circuit and Zanzibar’s beaches don’t share a border, so this pairing runs entirely by air – Nairobi to the Mara, then Nairobi to Zanzibar, a routing most travellers barely notice once it’s booked. What they do notice is the contrast: four days of game drives followed by three of doing very little on white sand.
It’s shorter than the equivalent Tanzania-Zanzibar pairing, which suits travellers who want the safari-and-beach shape of a trip without committing two full weeks to it.
Fees and rules in Kenya's national parks are set by the Kenya Wildlife Service.
